UPDATE: Trump files class-action lawsuit against Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, and Google’s Sundar Pichai

President Donald Trump, has called out Big Tech on their censorship, and announced a class action lawsuits Wednesday against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Google CEO Sundar Pichai on behalf of victims of “cancel culture”, as reported by the Daily Mail.

This act is the the latest and most aggressive one in Trump’s battle with Twitter, Facebook and other big tech companies over free speech and censorship. Trump has been completely banned from Twitter and is banned from Facebook for another two years.

He demanded the end of “shadow banning,” and “blacklisting” as he stood outside at his Bedminster golf course clubhouse Wednesday.

“In addition, we are asking the court to impose punitive damages on these social media giants,” he said.

“We’re going to hold big tech very accountable,” the president added.

Trump will serve as the lead plaintiff in this suit with the core of his claim being that he and many others are wrongfully censored.

  • Trump’s legal effort is supported by the America First Policy Institute, a non-profit focused on expanding Trump’s historic America first policies.
  • Class action lawsuits (such as this one) would enable him to sue the two tech CEOs on behalf of a broader group of people that have been censored by biased policies (of which appear to target conservatives).
