U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren on Wednesday called on U.S. policymakers to directly deal with the issues she argues is presented by the growing use of cryptocurrency, while supporting a Federal Reserve-backed digital currency. Warren called it a "terrible currency" that's really only useful to "criminals" and speculative investors she said in a Senate subcommittee hearing on the possibility of a central bank digital currency.
As a Black American male who was born into an environment where my biological father was absent, raised on the west side of Chicago and who attends a Historically Black University (also known as an HBCU) I am totally against Black Lives Matter (BLM). The sentiments is overly obvious; of course Black lives matter, in fact any human life has an intrinsic value given (not by government or by a "social justice" group) but given by God. However, the organization (Black Lives Matter Inc.) and the surrounding infrastructure I do not (and in fact cannot) support.
November 3, 2020 is so far but yet so close. No matter the results it is a fact that President Donald Trump has done more for Black Americans since Abraham Lincoln. While on the surface this may seem to be an extreme claim it is, when one examines the facts, a truth that cannot be ignored. Yesterday it was assassination for Lincoln. Illegal immigration costs taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level, according to figures from the Federation for American Immigration Reform. About $84 billion is absorbed by state and local governments that mostly derive funding through property, sales and income taxes.
Black citizens pay their share of these taxes yet the government programs funded through these taxes are then reduced or unavailable to Black Americans in too many communities due to illegal residents taking advantage of them.
