The president of Jackson State University in Mississippi resigned Monday shortly after his arrest in a prostitution sting that nabbed 17 individuals.

Jussie Smollett indicted by special prosecutor with new charges in Chicago

Actor Jussie Smollett has reportedly been indicted indicted on six new charges of disorderly conduct, accusing him of filing false police reports by a special prosecutor in Chicago over last year’s alleged hate hoax in which the Empire actor lied, claiming he was beaten by two men in MAGA hats who yelled racial and homophobic slurs at him. A special Cook County grand jury handed down the new indictment on Tuesday, following a six-month investigation by special prosecutor Dan Webb.

There is no value in victimhood. One of the principle ways that people mismanage their anger is by playing the role of victim. According to Robert W. Firestone Ph.D. many people adopt the victim role, albeit unintentionally because they are afraid of their anger, deny its existence in themselves, project it onto other people, and anticipate aggression or harm from them. This victimhood narrative is pumping through liberal media and ensnaring the minds of many of my people. Black Americans often push aside intellectual thought and logic for emotional responses and race baiting. It is not emotion that can rebuild the black community, but only self-initiative and hard work that can do that.
